As a Computer Science Engineering (CSE) student, there are several things you should do to prepare yourself for the job market. Here are some important skills and knowledge areas that you should consider developing
1. Programming Skills: One of the most important skills for a CSE student is programming. You should be proficient in at least one programming language and have experience in writing code for different applications.
2. Object-Oriented Programming: Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is a programming paradigm based on the use of objects. A class is a blueprint for creating objects, which have attributes and methods that define their behavior. OOP supports inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation, making it useful for creating modular, reusable, and maintainable code.
3. Data Structures and Algorithms: You should have a good understanding of data structures and algorithms, which are the building blocks of software development. This knowledge will help you write efficient and scalable code.
4. Databases: Understanding databases is crucial for any software development job. You should have a good understanding of SQL and relational databases, as well as experience with one or more NoSQL databases.
5. Version Control: You should be familiar with version control systems like Git, which are used to manage code repositories and collaborate with other developers.

The target of this course is to give a high-level overview of each of the listed topics. It is expected that each participant will have the basic knowledge already. Relevant materials will also be shared before each session so that the participant may go through and prepare for the session.
